INSTRUCTIONS RELATED TO FORM DOWNLOAD

PROSPECTUS & APPLICATION FORMS will be available from the College Counter or may be downloaded from the College Website:

www.jogamayadevicollege.org

A candidate may apply for as many HONOURS/ MAJOR subjects as required.

Use separate Application Forms for different HONOURS subjects.

The On-Line Form Download Option is available ONLY for those applying in HONOURS Courses. Direct Admission for the General Course will start from 23.06.2008 from the Admission Office of the College.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO HONOURS COURSE: As per CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY REGULATIONS.

Go through the available Courses, Tentative Subject Combinations and Admission Procedures before filling up application forms. All forms should be duly filled in and supplemented with required documents. Incomplete forms will not be considered.

Attach a demand draft of Rs. 100/ as processing fee. Each Form should contain separate DD of Rs. 100/-.

Drafts are to be issued from BANK OF INDIA/ SBI /CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA. The drafts are to be drawn in favour of 'Principal, Jogamaya Devi College', payable at Kolkata.

A candidate should write her name, HS Roll No., the Honours/Major subject applied for on the back side of the draft.

The duly filled-in 'Hard Copy' copy of on-line form should reach the Admission Office of the college by 13th June 2008.

1. Candidates may directly submit their form(s) to the Admission Office of the College.

OR

2. Candidate may send the form by 'Speed Post' of the Indian Postal Department or any reputed Courier Company. Write 'Seeking admission into <SUBJECT NAME> Honours/Major Course' on the top of the sealed envelope containing Application Form (with DD). The mailing address is:

Candidate should preserve the Photostat copy (Xerox) of duly filled-in form for further reference purpose. In this case, the Bank Draft No. mentioned in the form will be referred to for any future enquiry regarding admission.

The mail should reach the college office within 13.06.2008. No form will be considered, in any circumstances, after 13.06.2008.

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH EACH APPLICATION FORM

1. Attested Xerox copies of H. S. or Equivalent Mark Sheets.
2. SC/ ST candidates must submit attested Xerox copies of SC/ ST certificates from the appropriate authority with the application forms.
3. Physically Handicapped candidates must submit attested Xerox copies of the relevant certificate.

The college reserves the right of admission.

Candidate should print the form from the ORIGINAL SOURCE. Any other typed version or 'TRUE COPY' of the Form will not be entertained.
