Courses - Honours Courses
The College now offers Honours courses in 17 subjects:
Special Honours courses are offered to eligible candidates
in non-laboratory-bases subjects in the new course of the
University of Calcutta only. Honours and General classes are
held separately and the medium of instruction is English.
General Courses
General courses are offered in English, Bengali, Political
Science, History, Philosophy, Sanskrit, Sociology, Geography,
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Zoology,
Botany, Statistics, Psychology, and Commerce stream.
Honours and General classes are held separately and the medium
of instruction is English.

STRUCTURE OF THE DEGREE COURSE
BA, B. Sc. Degree General and Honours Courses are of three
years' duration. Students will appear at the University Examination
after each academic year. Honours students are to choose in
addition two general course subjects.
